SBS Nexus Berhad Targets Double-Digit Growth on Tourism Year Opportunities

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 5 March 2026 – Branding and marketing solutions provider SBS Nexus Berhad (Stock Name: SBS and Stock Code: 0386), expects its revenue and earnings to achieve double-digit growth this year, driven by stronger demand for event management and digital services amid the opportunities created by Malaysia’s 2026 Tourism Year.

Chief Executive Officer Mr. CM Wong said during a results briefing that the company will continue to focus on the domestic market while aiming to organise at least 50 event projects throughout the year.

He noted that many of the company’s long-standing clients had already begun making enquiries and discussing potential campaigns since the second half of last year, with some actively preparing to capitalise on tourism-related opportunities.

“Traditionally, clients would start making enquiries in the final quarter of the year and only finalise their event plans in the first or second quarter of the following year. However, to stay ahead of the market, several clients accelerated their preparations and completed most of the quotation process by the end of last year. Since January, many of these projects have already moved into the execution stage,” he said.

Beyond physical events, CM Wong added that the group’s digital business segment is also expected to record steady growth. The synergy between its event management and digital solutions divisions is anticipated to play a key role in supporting the group’s targeted double-digit expansion.

SBS Nexus is an investment holding company with several subsidiaries, including SBS Digital Holdings, SBS Digital Media, SBS Events, SBS Media Tech, SBS Social and ShangHai Digital Business Media. Together, these units provide integrated branding and digital solutions aimed at enhancing corporate visibility and business growth.

The group’s branding services cover outdoor media, public relations and event management, as well as offline brand activation. Its digital solutions include online marketing, digital livestreaming, video production, digital outdoor media, online media platforms, and the development of mobile applications and websites.

Currently, small and medium-sized enterprises within the Chinese-speaking market remain the group’s primary client base, contributing more than 90% of its total revenue.
