Brand recognition and brand awareness are very similar, but also widely different. Brand awareness is when people know about your company’s existence, but brand recognition is when people can recognize and identify your brand. When people are aware about your existence, how could they recognize your brand among all your competitors?

(1) Create clear brand identity

The first thing is to ensure that your brand can be identified easily. This can start with designing a professional logo that matches your brand’s character. You can also create a brand colour palette and create a story for your brand.

(2)  Work on your website

Having a fast and useful website with a good look is important for your success. Even if your business is entirely physical based, you still need a professional website to help your brand recognition. You can include information about yourself, your company or customer reviews. It helps your audience understand who you are and the value you bring.

(3) Bring your social media accounts up

A lot of people are on social media, and it is a great way to cultivate real relationships with your customers. However, it is only useful when your social media accounts are up to date. This means that your accounts must have all your brand’s design elements, and should feature customer-focused content that appeals to your target audience.

(4) Stand out from the crowd by being unique

It is always best to be unique. Doing so will show your customers you bring added value compared to your competitors that are similar to each other.
